About the Director
Robyn Fox began her dance training and love of performing in the Wood River Valley at age 5 with Hilarie Neely at Footlight Dance Center. She continued her dance studies at Boise State after high school. For the last 10 years, Robyn has dedicated her time to teaching a multitude of dance genres, including ballet, hip-hop, and modern, with a heavy focus on tap. Robyn has trained with world-renowned tap dancers and takes the motto “To be a good teacher, one must be a good student first.” to heart. In addition to dance, Robyn has a long history with music. She began her musical journey playing the flute in sixth-grade band, later teaching herself a range of other instruments. In high school, Robyn discovered her voice and was a founding member of the award-winning choir, Colla Voce. Throughout her life, Robyn has performed in musical theater productions with Missoula Children’s Theatre, Wood River High School, St. Thomas Playhouse, and Wood River Rep. Robyn has a deep passion for sharing her love for the performing arts with the students of the beautiful valley she calls home.
